U15 National Trophy Round 3:

Lifford (Clare) 8-0 Summerville (Limerick)

A slow start for U15 Lifford today took until the 12 minute for Lifford to break through Summerville defence, cutting in from the right wing Emmanuel Chukwuemeka received the ball and broke through the defence to place the ball into bottom left corner pass the goal keeper.

The goasl started to flow for Lifford when leading goalscorer Kaylum Mata getting his first goal from a lovely through ball from Siney Neenan, Kaylum broke through with his pace 1v1 with goal keeper made it 2-0 to Lifford. Again Kaylum Mata dribbled into the box rounding the goal keepers into a empty net made 3-0.

Lifford were on top dominating the possession with Caua Ribeiro a neat one, two with Rhys Farmer flicking it with the outside of his boot for on running Caua to hit the ball first time from the edge of the 18 yard box to slot the ball into bottom left hand corner.

Half Time Lifford 4- 0 Summerville

Into second half Lifford got a free kick from 30yards out and new signing Pepe Ifebajo took the free kick and curling the ball over the Summerville wall into top left hand corner giving the GK no chance to save the free kick, making it 5-0.

After the free kick, Lifford brought on Adam Doyle, Kayden Moloney, Faruk Bashua, Rhys Farmer started to get into the game with his shooting from outside of the box, again the Summerville did great to stop the shot from Rhys but rebounded out land nicely for on coming Faruk Bashua to scrore from the rebound, 60 to Lifford. Lifford then made more changes to the team bringing on Blake Erwin, Aiden McParland and Tyler Considine Murrihy

Summerville start to gain possesion further up the pitch only for Rhys Farmer to steal the ball and the half way line and solo dribble through the centre of the pitch with only the GK to beat blasting the ball to left side to the Lifford's 7th goal of the game.

Adding to Summerville misery of the visit to Ennis, Lifford Centre back Sean O'Callaghan went up the field only to shoot from 35 yards out to hit the inside of the post and fly into the empty net. 8-0 to Lifford.

Lifford U15 now looking foward to Round 4.
