All roads lead to Frank Healy Park this Saturday where Lifford AFC u16 boys take on the favourites Bridge Utd with a 2pm kick off in the Cup Final.

The club, ,parents all supporters all wish the u16 team the best of luck, so come down and support the boys if you are free Saturday.

Get to know the players below:

Luke Kennedy            Born winner, Luke has it all, great shot stopper, excellent in 1 v 1 , great distribution  Played for the winning Clare u16 team this year.

Frank Lynch               Strong, solid, with great quick feet, Frank has added something every year to his game. likes a tight haircut!!

Cal Kirby                    Modern day full back gets up and down the pitch, dynamic ,great fitness, Played for the Clare Squad this year  and scored also..

Owen O'Gorman       Centre backs need to be leaders and Owen is certainly that, Good talker on the pitch, loves a good old fashioned tackle played for the Clare squad this season.

David Moses            David joined the club this year and has quickly adapted to the Boys, Physical strong and aggressive in the tackle plays every game to the max!!!

George Quinn (C)     Captain Fantastic, leads by doing , has a great work rate and top class fitness will run and tackle all day, scores a good goal also.

Jack Dillon                Another of our players that togged out for Clare this year, great feet and loves a pass with the outside of his foot. Likes tiktok aswell!!!

Dean O'Rourke        Has played loads of different position this year and has adapted to all with ease, heart of a lion and keeps going to the very end.

Adrian Moloney        Back playing soccer this year and has played well in matches, got man of the match also in one of our league games, gives 100% , great work rate.

Sam Obadeyi            Sam togged for Clare this year also, great attitude has had a few injuries but is back now and it can only get better, quick feet, strong and loves a step over. match winner

Eric McDonnell        Always has a smile, great technical player and a great attitude to training and learning , thinks about the game and will develop into a brilliant footballer.

Jack Madigan         Jack has been brilliant this season, work rate &  effort topped of with some man of the match displays throughout the season , First to training willing to learn.

Cain Downey          Easy to work with and has learned from joining up with the club, good trainer and has played a few different positions, wont let you down and has an eye for a goal.      

Ordhan Flynn        A complete team player, strong and leads from the front, never gives up fitness levels off the charts has scored some goals this season  in the big games.

Cain Guilfoyle        Links the play for us in the number 9 position, can play off both feet, closes down the opposition  defenders and never lets them off the hook. Good work rate off the ball.

Oisin O'Donoghue    Has pace to burn, top scorer so far, scored the all important winner in the semi final win. one to watch and a willing runner off the ball. a focal point up front for the team.

Tadgh Kearins       Injuries curtailed his season, but has shown good desire to get back into the team, shows willingness to learn and improve all the time.Valuable member of the squad.
