The first team travelled to Lynch park in Shannon to face a very experienced ST b team in the quarter final of the Clare Cup, where some of the opposition players on show have premier winning medals. ST came back and equalized before HT. in second half we dictated play for the most part and scored through a great cross from killeen this time shea was on hand to head to the net. , a superb delivery from the industrious Keith shea(player of the match) from the dead ball gave Paul martin the chance to head home our third . a late penalty from ST closed the scoreline to 3-2 which we saw out .
