Lifford AFC O:O Tulla Utd aet

Lifford won 4:3 on penalties.

A hard fought win against Tulla Utd in the Clare Cup semi final last Sunday meant that Lifford men's team has got to another cup final this season, following on from their success in the League Cup Final a week earlier.

After a O:O in the game and in the extra time penalties would seperate these two teams .

Tulla won the toss and opted to take the first penalty, they scored, Lifford,s turn and it was saved by the Tulla goalkeeper.

This seem to inspire the other Lifford penalty takers and goalkeeper Peadar O'Keefee who saved two penalties to put Lifford on the brink.

Up Stepped Paul Martin to score the winning penalty and send Lifford to the final.
